I have developed an innovative and powerful new web based system unique to the industry that will offer florists a viable alternative to the wire services.

We have established a brand new Floral Community through which independent florists can interact and trade cooperatively, cutting out the middlemen, helping cut each others costs and maximize profits.

Over the last 50 years we have grown from a small back yard greenhouse to a mid sized family orchid nursery and floral business in Minneapolis. As time went along we were seeing less and less of a benefit from our wire service affiliations.

While the business they brought in was welcome, escalating fees and required maintenance expenses continued to take bigger bites out of our bottom line until there was nothing left.

I then realized the need to move our flower shop towards independence.

For years I pondered, there must be a better way to network with fellow florists for out of town orders...

How could a small independent operator such as myself get around the huge corporations that called the shots?

Little did I know, this thing called the Internet would coming along to change everything!
